Methuen Diamond Floral Tiara

Creation:  This tiara was made circa 1840 and the flowers are mounted en tremblant.

Materials:  diamonds set in silver and gold

Provenance:

1. Marjorie Merriweather Post; bought in 1970
2. Smithsonian Institution: National Museum of Natural History; donated by Marjorie Merriweather Post in 1973
