Creation: The tiara can be worn as a necklace and in 2011 Marianne Dulong altered the tiara so that it can be worn with added pearls.

I think the pearls are a welcome addition to this tiara. That they are removable is an added bonus. The Countess of Wessex should try and improve her own wedding tiara using some additional pearls.
